Hi. My name is Mike and this is my story...

I'm your "typical" guy I suppose. I went to college, have a house in the 'burbs, a lovely wife and a beautiful 15 month old daughter named Katie. But that's where "typical" stops. You see, my wife and I were tired of running around with our heads cut off every day trying to make ends meet. We felt as though there wasn't enough time for "life", meaning - spending time with each other and ESPECIALLY being able to raise our daughter. So, collectively, we decided to make a decision. I'm about to quit my job and stay at home to become a full time stay at home dad. This is the first entry of I'm sure many of my story and adventures in Parenthood from the front lines. So, check back from time to time. I'm sure some entries will be humorous, some heartbreaking and some just interesting stuff to pass the time away. Thanks for checking it out.
